I revealed here about two weeks ago that my interview on Zibby Owens’ “Moms Don’t Have Time to Read” podcast would go live on my birthday. Then I got so distracted that I neglected to share it.

Better late than never!

What is “Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books” anyway? It is the brainchild of Zibby Owens, an author/reader/publisher/“book-fluencer”/mom, with seemingly unlimited energy and a Harvard MBA in her back pocket. I give her enormous credit for having a vision — creating a podcast to begin with — and acting on it. Even if no one had ever listened to it, that alone would be mega-praiseworthy. (Of course, a lot of folks listen to it.)

In contrast, if a bright idea manages to make its way to me, so often I will neglect or doubt it, or doubt myself. The idea dies, or goes to find someone else who is ready to take it (as author Elizabeth Gilbert opines in her fantastic book, “Big Magic”). So, yes, that Zibby Owens took the idea of creating a podcast that would share her love of books…
